Volpi Foods to Open Within Schnucks
Volpi Foods and Schnuck Markets are partnering on a store-within-a-store prototype concept at the grocers’ Des Peres, Mo., location. The concept will be located near the store’s deli department, and feature Volpi’s specialty cured meats, which are made in of four facilities, all located in Missouri. The meats are produced using locally sourced fresh pork combined with a craft process built on low temperature fermentation, long drying periods and no artificial ingredients.
“Schnucks is excited to be able to offer our shoppers Volpi premium meats with this new concept,” said Derick Rosinsky, Schnucks’ category manager. “This takes our partnership with Volpi to the next level and allows us to deliver on our fresh promise to our customers.”
