Old Croc’s New Flavored Cheddars Sweep Cheese Contest

Crafted with Old Croc’s Australian cheddar, Trugman-Nash’s new line of flavored cheddars swept the field in its category at this year’s United States Championship Cheese Contest. The bold flavored cheeses earned Best of Class, 2nd Award and 3rd Award in the Flavored Pasteurized Process Cheese category. The cheeses were officially introduced to the market at the recent IDDBA17 in Anaheim, Calif.

The award-winning cheddars are the result of almost 18 months of product development. “The time  spent developing our wonderful new line of flavored cheeses was, without a doubt, time very well spent,” said Ken Meyers, president of Trugman-Nash. “To be recognized in such a big way by such a prestigious panel of judges at the United States Cheese Championships is a testament to all the hard work and dedication that went into making these delicious cheeses.”

The four new flavors combine the bold “bite” of Australian sharp cheddar with today’s favorite flavors and are available in Horseradish, Bacon & Jalapeno, Roasted Garlic & Herb and Chipotle & Onion. They are made with non-GMO ingredients and no added hormones.

Old Croc’s cheddars are distributed by Trugman-Nash and are available in 6-ounce retail chunks, 7-ounce pre-sliced shingle packs, as well as 12-ounce and 1.5-pound variety trays.
