New Campaign Showcases Imported Cheese
The new “I Love Imported Cheese” campaign launched by the Cheese Importers Association of America features a website (www.iloveimportedcheese.com) for both retailers and consumers as well as an integrated social media program all in an effort to familiarize Americans with more varieties of cheese and the different ways they can enjoy them.
The campaign is financed by funds provided through the Qualified Importer Program, now called the Imported Cheese Board and is designed to provide an entertaining, engaging and educational experience so consumers will “fall in love” with the cheese varieties imported from around the world.
To reach consumers, the campaign is using a variety of touchpoints, including social media, in-store merchandising, sampling events and the website, which includes cooking videos and recipes, cheese profiles and pairings and ideas for home entertaining. The social media platforms also provide a forum for consumers to share their love of imported cheese.
