Meyer’s Mitchell Loring Retires

Mitchell Loring, president of Meyer Corp., is retiring, effective immediately. Loring started at Meyer in 1988 as regional manager for the East Coast, and he has held numerous senior and managerial positions. He was promoted to president of the company in 2013 after having served as EVP sourced product, VP of sales and national sales manager.

“I’m very fortunate to have had the opportunity to help grow a small company into a global powerhouse, and have immensely enjoyed being part of a talented team that has created world class products and brands,” Loring said. “Being able to work with great people who have turned into lifelong friends is one of the experiences I will cherish.”

Loring was praised by the company for his decisive leadership style, vision for innovation and ability to skillfully navigate Meyer through a constantly evolving and fast-paced industry.
