Lolli & Pops Opens First New Mexico Location
With plans to add 40 locations in the U.S. by the end of 2018, Lolli & Pops opened at Coronado Center in Albuquerque, N.M., on September 7. It’s the San Francisco-based candy retailer’s first location in the Southwest and the 39th location overall.
For the past five years, Lolli & Pops has been expanding across the country since opening its first location in Tulsa, Okla. Each store offers a thoughtfully curated selection of sweets and treats sourced from around the world. Coronado Center customers are greeted with a dazzling display of colorful French macarons, marzipan fruits and more. The store stocks sweets from national candy brands and local artisans; the assortment changes daily. The new store features the brand’s iconic old-fashioned sweet shoppe aesthetic -- soft mint green accents and turn of the century inspired decor, including a calligraphy accented chalkboard. Store employees, called Magic Makers, will be dressed in bow ties, striped aprons and straw boater hats. Every Lolli & Pops location strives to offer an “elevated shopping experience from start to finish.”
“We are thrilled to bring Lolli & Pops to Albuquerque and to be part of the renewal of the CoronadoCenter,” says Lolli & Pops CEO and founder Sid Gupta. “Our customers love Lolli & Pops because each visit is a delightful experience,” said Lolli & Pops CEO and founder Sid Gupta. “I know the team is excited to welcome guests and to let them sample our thousands of artisan chocolates, candies and confections.”
Lolli & Pops was founded by father and son duo Raj and Sid Gupta in 2012.
