King’s/Balducci’s Adds Marketing, Merchandising Directors

King’s Food Markets and Balducci’s Food Lover’s Market has hired Scott Brown as senior director of marketing, and Paul Greenblatt director of meat sales and merchandising.

“We are delighted to welcome these industry leaders aboard,” said Judy Spires, chairman and CEO of the Parsippany, N.J.-based gourmet retail chains.  “Scott and Paul come to us with immeasurable experience and will help in further developing and expanding the Kings Food Markets and Balducci’s Food Lover’s Market brands. Our goal is to continue bringing our customers the highest quality food offerings and best experience possible, and we know these individuals will be invaluable in furthering our history of success.”

Brown has more than 20 years of experience in the marketing working with various companies.

Greenblatt has more than 20 years of experience in the food industry, having worked with chefs while attending the Culinary Institute of America, and also in retail as the associate meat director at Whole Foods. He managed numerous areas of the business including profitability, program compliance, department operations, sanitation, innovation, product development and new store design throughout New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
