Jim Low Joins Schuman Cheese
Schuman Cheese recently welcomed Jim Low, a business and marketing leader with more than 17 years of consumer packaged goods experience, to oversee the company’s sales and marketing strategy. Low is filling a position formerly held by Ellen Schum, who is now COO for the Italian and artisan cheese company.
Low’s broad background in brand marketing, sales, government and entrepreneurial business poise him for success in his new position as executive vice president of sales and marketing for Schuman Cheese. In this role, Low will advance the company’s marketing efforts and selling capabilities across distribution channels, including retail and food service.
“Jim’s success in building brands, customer relationships and leading innovation and strategy makes him a great choice for the Schuman team,” said Neal Schuman, CEO. “His experience is an ideal match for our development strategies, as well as our ongoing commitment to strong customer relationships.”
Prior to joining Schuman Cheese, Low was the general manager of Enjoy Life Foods in Chicago. Previously, he headed Mondelez North America’s U.S. sales planning organization and led a variety of brands including Trolli Gummi Candy, Ritz Crackers, Wheat Thins and Trident Gum.
