Hay Kitchen Market Launches at MoMA

By TGR Edit Desk - 09/12/2017

Hay Kitchen Market, a collaboration between the Danish brand founded by Mette Hay and Chef Frederik Bille Brahe, launched at MoMA Design Store in August, with additional shop openings at Hay House Oslo, Picasso Museum, Selfridges London and Hay House Copenhagen. Later this year, additional stores will open at Hay stores throughout Europe. The brand and chef first collaborated for a pop-up store, Hay Mini Market, last year and its success led to a larger line of kitchen utensils.

The line of 200 items focuses on utility and cool design with ranging from everyday kitchenware like pots, pans, graters, cutting boards and peelers, as well as plates, cups, glasses and cutlery and including steel picnic containers to hand-blown Moroccan glasses to brightly colored enamelware. The entire line is designed to be mixed and matched with Hay’s well-known Memphis-influenced bold and pastel hues.
