Forty One Madison Adds Nine Showrooms

An unprecedented number of new showrooms -- nine -- will debut at the Spring New York Tabletop Show® April 13-16.

"I think it's fair to say we are definitely seeing 'the end of that thing called 2009,'" said Laurie Burns, senior vice president and director of the tableware building.

"Retailers are looking to position themselves for the future, and manufacturers are eager to provide their customers with what they want. It's exciting to see really new products introduced this spring, versus just a new color in a best-seller. Our new tenants come to us from around the globe and will bring a new vitality to the tableware marketplace this spring."

Permanent new showrooms and floors:

Auratic USA, Inc., 14th floor
The first Chinese ceramic brand is about to bow in the United States with Auratic's new showroom this April. Only a portion of the 7,000-square-foot showroom will be in use for market as a complete renovation will take place before the official debut in October. Retailers can look forward to a dramatic presentation of high-end color bone china, produced at its Shenzhen, China, factory.
