Boska Holland Opens NYC Cheese Showroom
Boska Holland Cheesewares officially opened its new Manhattan showroom and offices last month in the city’s Flatiron District. The festivities were started off with a ribbon-cutting by Frederique van der Wal, a Dutch model and owner of NYC’s Frederique’s Choice e-commerce floral business. Fourth-generation owner Martijn Bos is proud to introduce the company’s tools for cheese to the city. The showroom is only the third location in the world, with others in China and the Netherlands.
“We are incredibly excited about our Boska Cheese Experience in the lively and attractive setting of the Flatiron district. I am beyond thrilled to stand here in the middle of a food, cheese, party loving crowd. For me this is a dream coming true: What my great grandfather started in 1896 in a tiny Dutch Village right next to the city of Gouda, really took flight!” Bos noted at the opening event.
Boska products are sold in more than 90 countries and recent won six Red Dot Design Awards for its Party Fondue Mr. Big, the Candle Light Fondue Twinkle, the Partyclette XL, the Fondue Set Copper, the Raclette Quattro Concrete and the Cheese Slicer Monaco+.
