Beaverton Foods Earns Clean Water Award
Beaverton Foods, the 88-year-old specialty condiment maker based in Hillsboro, Ore., earned its fourth Industrial Partners Pretreatment Award from Clean Water Services; one of 40 companies with a perfect compliance record in 2016.
“We are pleased to be recognized for our extra effort to keep our waterways clean here in our community,” said Domonic Biggi, Beaverton Foods’ CEO. “It’s simply the right thing to do.”
Some of the requirements for the award include no remediation sites, no categorical non-dischargers, best management practices or water wash, no active state or federal environmental actions pending or in progress, no permit flow exceedances and no self-monitoring or Clean Water Services Quality Laboratory monitoring permit parameter violations.
Beaverton Foods offers a variety of gourmet sauces, garlic, spices and other specialty condiments under the Beaver, Inglehoffer, Napa Valley, Tulelake and Pacific Farms brands.
